Wave parks are currently being developed all over the world, bringing surf culture to areas where it has never been before. SeaTrees has developed a model for surf parks to follow in order to deliver an authentic surf park experience.

The LineUp at Wai Kai, O'ahu
The LineUp at Wai Kai is the first Ocean Positive surf park. They're wiping out the CO2 footprint of the operations of the Wai Kai Wave with SeaTrees. For every guest activity booking on the Wai Kai Wave or the Wai Kai Lagoon, they will donate $1 obtain carbon credits and support the Hoʻowaiwai Watershed Project.
Partnership Opportunities
SeaTrees provides several options for minimizing the negative impact surf parks have on the environment. We have created onramps for surf parks to re-establish their connection to the ocean in a few different ways. By partnering with SeaTrees, surf parks can give back to our ocean planet and wipe out their climate impact.
Option 1
Plant a SeaTree for Every Visit: +$1
Every individual booking = 1 SeaTree planted
Add $1 to the cost of each ticket sold to plant one mangrove tree at our project in Mida Creek, Kenya.
Option 2
Wipe Out the Climate Impact: +$1
Add $1 to the cost of every ticket sold to wipe out the carbon footprint of each individual booking with blue carbon credits.
Option 3
Become an Ocean Positive Surf Park
An Ocean Positive surf park will take action to sequester more carbon emissions than they are creating, positively impacting the ocean and the life it supports. SeaTrees will calculate the carbon footprint of your surf park so you can wipe it out with SeaTrees Tokens.
