We headed to the 5th annual 1% For The Planet Global Summit in NYC!

1% for the Planet was born out of a fishing trip and the realization that businesses are responsible for their environmental impact. That being said, Sustainable Surf and SeaTrees was stoked to send our talented Partnerships Director, Haley Haggerstone, to New York City for the 5th annual 1% for the Planet Global Summit.

Over the course of three days, we were able to take part in mindful moments, inspiring panels, and epic volunteer groups that allowed us to engage in incredible networking opportunities while learning more about how we can ensure our planet and future generations thrive.

1% for the planet has certified $500 million in donations since 2002 and they’re on track to certify $1 billion in cumulative donations in the next 3-5 years. A huge thanks to 1% for the Planet for this amazing event and the opportunity to learn more about environmental advocacy, we’re so grateful to be an environmental partner!
