Each Kenya Mangrove Biodiversity Block plants one mangrove tree and provides funding and jobs for the local community for 10 years to protect and monitor its growth. Our methodology ensures that the project uses the latest mangrove restoration science to monitor the biodiversity and social impact benefits of the project.
Biodiversity Blocks are retired on the Regen Network blockchain registry to prevent double-counting and ensure total transparency.
