Seatrees Earns The Climate Label Certification for 2026

We’re proud to share that Seatrees has officially earned The Climate Label certification for 2026, recognizing our continued commitment to measuring, reducing, and taking responsibility for our climate impact.

The Climate Label, administered by The Change Climate Project, recognizes organizations that are taking meaningful, transparent action toward a lower-carbon future.

For Seatrees, this commitment goes hand in hand with our mission to restore the health of our ocean planet.

Around the world, we work alongside local communities, scientists, businesses, and funders to restore and protect critical ocean ecosystems — including mangrove forests, kelp forests, coral reefs, seagrass meadows, coastal watersheds, and shellfish reefs. These ecosystems are essential for biodiversity and coastal communities, and many also play an important role in the global carbon cycle and building resilience to a changing climate.

But working toward a healthier planet also means taking responsibility for our own footprint.

Earning The Climate Label for 2026 reflects our ongoing commitment to understanding the emissions associated with our organization, taking steps to reduce our impact, and supporting credible climate action as we continue to grow our restoration work around the world.

Certification is not the finish line. It’s one part of an ongoing effort to operate with greater accountability and ensure the way we work reflects the future we’re working to create.

We’re proud to join a community of organizations demonstrating that climate responsibility can, and should, be built into how we do business.

Healthy ocean. Stable climate. A more resilient future.
