How It Works:
When you purchase a Seatrees Pod, you'll:
- Plant three mangrove trees at our Seatrees Biodiversity Block project in Marereni, Kenya
- Protect a "ridge to reef" watershed project in Colombia, certified by REDD+, VERRA, and CCBA, using 2014 vintage carbon credits
- Support local communities, creating jobs in mangrove restoration, forest protection, and eco-tourism
How Much Climate Impact Did Your Flight Create?
- Short-haul flight (<3 hours) = 1 ton CO₂
- Medium-haul flight (<6 hours) = 2 tons CO₂
- Long-haul flight (<12 hours) = 4 tons CO₂
- Ultra long-haul flight (18+ hours) = 6 tons CO₂
