This June, our partners at Baja Naturals are proving that even snack time can help restore the planet. Through their “Treats to Trees” campaign, every bag of dog treats sold = one mangrove tree planted in Baja, Mexico with Seatrees!
These trees are planted by our Seatrees project partners, WILDCOAST, and the Mujeres de El Dátil, a women-led restoration group working to reforest a UNESCO World Heritage coastline that’s also home to gray whale nurseries. Mangroves are powerful carbon sinks, capturing 5 to 10 times more CO₂ than tropical forests, while protecting shorelines and nurturing marine life.
