Join us at SURFscape on 4/29-30

Sustainable Surf and The Ecoboard Project will be at SURFscape!

The best brands in surf and the outdoors are coming together at SURFscape and you don’t want to miss out on what is going to be an amazing kickoff to your summer of adventure and exploration.

Produced by the Surf Industry Members Association (SIMA), SURFscape will host over 100 leading surf brands for an invigorating open-space experience on the beach.

From wetsuit and surfboard demos to inspiring talks on environmentalism and sustainability, along with adventure grilling, van life builds, and a plethora of gear presentations, SURFscape promises to be an unforgettable event.

The Sustainable Surf team will be in attendance, and excited to promote our brand new “From Shred to Dead: The Surfboard Lifecycle Survey.

In 2015, we conducted the first life cycle study of the carbon footprint of a surfboard, which revealed that a Level One Ecoboard produced a 30% reduction in carbon footprint.

Now, with the new survey, we aim to complete our understanding of the "cradle to grave" carbon footprint of a surfboard, taking into account repair and replacement frequency. The survey seeks responses from surfers of all levels, and each person who participates will earn a raffle entry to win a brand new Firewire ECOBOARD.

An additional entry will be granted for those who go above and beyond by completing our bonus questions!

Don't miss SURFscape, located in the Huntington Beach City Parking Lot directly across from the Waterfront Hilton and the Hyatt Hotel. See you this weekend and make sure you come stop by our tent to complete the survey.
